h 3: The Three Treasures. JING, QI, & SHEN. Essence = Jing. Bring Jing to Qi. Internal Energy = Qi. Bring QI to head for Shen = Spirit. NOURISHING SHEN. Refining the Shen to end human (emotional) nature.
Basic Concepts of Qi Gong. JING: To refine. Jing Lian - Purify water. Excellent quality. Original Essence. Improving the quality of the Jing. Firming and conserving the Original Jing. The kidneys. Conception Vessel. DanTian - Water Qi. Fire Qi. Shen - Spirit. Jingmen, Shenshu, Essence doors.
Qi. Systems. Factory power. Different levels of required current in body with QI just as in factores with electricity, etc. Air quality, food quality. Thrusting vessel. Yi - NM ind intention. Wei Qi - Guardian environmental response. Nourish the brain with QI, then raise the Shen. Dilation when strong, not when constricting. Ying Qi. Original Jing. Original Qi. Water and Fire Qi.

Raising the Spirit firms The Nourish brain and Shen. Fan Jing Bu Nao means Return the J8ing to nourish the brain. ill.
Ti and Xin. They both mean "mind" but have different specific aspects. Yi is The Wisdom Mind. Xin, which came from the word for Heart is used to mean the emotive mind. If Yi Mind will do something, it will be done. Acting how one feels as opposed to how one thinks. People think the emotive mind is stronger than than the thinking mind but not so with a trained wisdom mind of Yi. Primal nature is Xin YI...both! "Yi Xin Hui Yi." The Yi that modulates the Xin. Using the Yi to meet the body. Xin Shen is where the emotive mind is affected by Shen (Spirit). Yi Zhi- working together. Water and Fire Qi's. Ridding the body and system of disturbed emotions... is very important for advanced practitioners and perhaps essentially, to all beings who wish Freedom and Truth.
Dan Tian. Elixir Field. Xia Dan tian. Qi Ocean. Lower Dan Tian is considered the "wellspring of life energy." Yuan Qi and Yuan Jing. Original Essence converted to Original Qi. Jing to Qi. Concweption - Yin. Governing -Yang. Center line. Noon and midnight. Huiyin Cavity. Qi huo.
Three Flowers reach to The Top. JING, QI, & SHEN. :The Three treasures." Gathering the three flowers at the the top of the head. SAN HUA JU DING. Convert JING to QI. Nourish the SHEN with QI. Convert SHEN to emptiness. This is necessary for longevity and health so to seek Enlightenment.
Five Qi's Toward Their Origins ( Wu Qi Chao Yuan ). 12 main organs. 12 main Qi channels. 8 extraordinary vessels. Food and air. Time. Regulation of emotion.
Qi and The Human Body. Qigong. Heaven Qi. Earth Qi. Yin/Yang. Quality. Spirit and essence. Foundation. Bioelectromagnetics. Qi Gates!
About Qi. Quality determination. Originating in chemical reaction. Heat and Light. 2 types of energy are dealt with regularly in daily life: Electromagnetic and Potential.
Behavior of The Human Qi. Similar to Water. Will balance itself naturally if left undisturbed. When the mind is scattered, the Qi will be disturbed and in excitatory pattern. Like Rivers that supply the lands, reservoirs that store it. Blockage causes agitation and unevenness. Without any obstruction, the water may rise and overflow the banks.
ELECTROMAGNETISM. The Earth and The Human Energetic System. North-Seeking pole. Magnetic Fields. The Earth's Poles are actually reversed...whereas The South Pole is actually True North. Rotation, Lodestone Sphere. The magnetism flows also according to position of the observer in the Arena. Inclination/Declination. Steel placed inside a magnetic field becomes magnetic. Human Magnets.
HEALING. healing by touch. Amount of Qi. Subtle application of energies that are low on Qi and also to remove excesses. Next, rid their own system of these. Qi Regulation Methods.
OPENING THE GATES. remove obstruction. Remove stagnant energies. Qi channels and cavities. Improper foods, air quality issues, and aging. Opens constrictions. EMF increase lifts the Flow. Exercises and meditations where the Mind plays the Concentrated plays the Main Role.
The Measurement of Qi. Unit of Measurement as bioelectricity. Standard units. The mind causes complexity in the electromagnetic equation. How are food and air converted to "electric power?" THE MASTERS CALL FOR A SYNTHESIS OF "BIOELECTRIC ENERGY' & 'QI."
Religious QiGong: Enlightenment or buddhahood? Secret religious Qigong until this century. Seeking to rise above suffering. Striving for enlightenment. Reincarnation cycle and escapes. Longevity. Point to the mind, no books, they said. But...we have them now. Animals. Before Da Mo, meditation was still. After, with movement. Change from weak to strong with tendon strengthening and marrow brain washing. Chan Meditation by Da Mo.
Tibetan QiGong for Buddhahood. Tibetans developed their own style. The Tibetan Priests as Lamas. MI ZONG = Secret Style. Qing Dynasty in China finally adopted it. 1. Tibetan QiGong is a unique form Buddhist QiGong. 2. Tibetan STILL meditation adds physical QiGong. 3. Documentation of Tibetan QiGong is scarce. Dr Yang suggested that we will benefit if someone specializes.
Daoist QiGong: Dao De Jing and Lao Zi (6th century). Primal Celestial Excellency. Old Lord of The Ultimate. Control of Earth Plane. Religious color added by Heavenly Qi. Wei Dan builds Chi inn the limbs and brings it inward, NEI DAN builds Chi internally and sends out to the limbs. Difficult. Highly secret for many years. Subtle workings, feelings, workings, and sensations are more difficult and harder to understand. Guidance from a Master. Conserve jing. Restrain sex Life. Emotive neutrality. Peaceful environment. Go to mountains! Still difficult even in peace. Achieve in levels, first health, then longevity, then enlightenment. 12 channels. Each channel running smooth. 12 channels, 8 vessels. Qi Rivers. Reservoirs. 2 GOALS. D mo's Muscle/Tendon changing and Marrow/Brain Washing. Healthy body with smooth circulation. Blood and spirit. Strong, calm, and peaceful brain. Yi Jin Jing and Xi Sui Jing.
THE WATER PATH. The water path passes through the spinal cord. This is a high practice within QiGong. Building pre-birth Qi in the Dan Tian. Next, use advanced training and mind to lead the Qi into the Thrusting Vessel, the "CHONG MAI" in the spinal cord. Marrow/Brain Washing ... uses Qi generated by and in the Dan Tian and also can develop in the sexual organs (Jing) ro convert into Qi supply. Ai midnight each day, the Qi separates into 2 paths. The FIRE PATH is outside the spine. In the wee hours, the Qi is sent and builds in the root area as well to generate "Jing" and hormones. WATER PATH goes up the spine. A major component of Marrow and Brain Washing is efficiency in the conversion of Jing to Chi. Qi. The Qi is then used to nourish the brain and THE SHEN (Spirit). The mind now newly energized can now adjust the energies in the organs and the rest of the body at will. This is the technique that Priests use to slow again and to live to nearly 200 years old, or more.
Ch 7 : General Concepts. Persons often only pay attention to the fruits of a tree. The beauty and fragrance of flowers. They skip over the planning, preparation, and HARF WORK. In China, they say that where there is a result, there is a cause. To Harvest Rice, first must plant it. The project must be nourished. Water. Protection. QIGONG TRAINING IS LIKE GROWING A TREE. Spreading out the seeds of the QiGong Tree that Learner will build. The roots may grow strong. Or weakly wither and die. Plant, nourish, PROTECT. UNDERSTAND ONE'S TREE. Sunshine, Fertilizer, Good Soil, protection from insects, ...and when and where. 5 THINGS TO KNOW: 1. Regulate the : 1. Body. 2. Breath. 3. Mind. 4. Qi. 5. Shen. This provides insight into the "How." "Why." Informed choices. CONFIDENCE. QiGong Botany. BUILDING UP QI. WATER FIRE. REGULATE THE BODY, BREATH, EMOTIONS, ESSENCE, QI, AND SHEN.
Building Qi. Understanding how Qi is generated. Generated and Converted from Essences. converting INHERITED ORIGINAL ESSENCE. this goes to make Water Qi. Food makes Fire Qi. Generates Life Force. Over consumption causes fat. Undereating causes the body to eat its fat. Increasing Efficiency of Transfer-Conversion. Creating Qi potential. Qi will flow from higher to lower where there is imbalance. This increases circulation. Clearing up blockages. Many ways, "many paths,". 4 categories of Qi building: 1. Physical stimulations, 2. Mental Stims. 3. Energizing the Shen. 4. Others...
Building Qi (Contnd). Physical stimulation is the easiest and basic method. Qi energized the muscles. Must supply Qi to muscles for continuing energy. Essence within stored and released as Qi. Qi builds up where blood does from exercise. Some dissipates into the air, some flows into body. Qi Circulation and Qi Channels. Wai Dan - External practice. Concentrating the mind during training of an area. Qi channels move more freely when relaxed. ARCING THE ARMS exercise called "Gong Shou." EXPERIENCING CHI FLOW. Concentration and YI... Wisdom mind. In coordination with inhalations, less and less Chi can dissipate into the air and more can energize the internal alchemy. Conception and Governing Vessels. Local Qi. Was it Qi or Blood Flow that we felt? Blood is material, Chi is energy. Slight warmth in the area may also be accompanied by an electric charge. Blood does not do this, Chi does.
MENTAL STIMULATION. How movement of the body is possible. firstly, one must generate an idea. This leads the Qi to the muscles that then execute the brain's orders. YI TI TIN QI . .. USE YOUR YI (WISDOM MIND) TO LEAD YOUR QI. The mind LEADS the Qi. The more one can concentrate, the stronger the YI will be, which portends that the Qi will flow. Using the mind alone to build up Qi is most difficult. LEARNING TO REGULATE THE MIND IOS ESSENTIAL. WAI DAN (External) NEI DAN (Internal) "elixirs" One may feel Qi in the palms by pushing down the palms mentally and exhaling. Once we feel something, we are feeling Qi. YI is the idea that we are pushing. With practice, one can lead the Qi more and more strongly to the palms. With experience, the Qi practitioner can send Qi anywhere in the body. In Wei Dan and Nei Dan, the Qi is built up similarly, one with imagined movements and one with actual. In the mental version, we bring the LOWER DAN TIAN. This exercise is much more difficult than the external Qi practice.
ENERGIZING THE SHEN. When excited, happiness and joy, the body may heat up...aka become hot. This is because the Spirit went to Higher State ... and body went "too Yang." Next, the mind transfers the heat to the skin for release. When scared or nervous, the energy highways within the body constrict. The body tenses up so not to lose its Qi... diminishing its own flow. Too Yin. The Qi channels being narrowed is the same as going into cold weather. Qi and Feelings...relations. Feelings generate in the mind and are directed by Spirit. STABILIZING AND FORMING THE SPIRIRT IS THE #1 JOB OF QOGONG. Advanced practitioners move their Qi in their bodies at Will. Fatigue in the body leads to lowering of the Spiritual dimensional frequency. The Yi gets out of the way when the being goes to rest. Anxiety, for example, will not let the mind rest which in turn weakens the Spirit. Excitement leads to higher spiritual frequency. QIGONG PRINCIPLES: THE SPIRIT GOVERNS THE QI FLOW... MANAGING QI AND GUARDIAN QI. These are built up for managing and shielding in optimal state of Being. The Emotive Mind and The Wisdom Mind can both raise the Qi frequency. In sleep and rest, the Qi rebalances itself. In Qigong, the mind balances the Qi ...regulates the mind. This raises the Spirit...without Yi excitement...which is calmer and more stable. THE RAISED SPIRIT IS ABLE TO GOVERN THE QI FLOW EFFICIENTLY FOR STABLE AND CALM POWER REGULATION.
HOW TO ADJUST FIRE AND WATER: 1. FRESH FOOD AND AIR. 2. REGULATING THE MIND AND BREATHING. 3. STEADYING THE SPIRIT. 4. CIRCULATING THE WIND PATH. 5. LEADING THE QI TO THE WIND PATH. 1. meats are geenerally toxin laden althoguyh imprioper vegatable use is no solvent either. Nuts and beans. Protein. Daoists and buddhists have long improved the quality of their Qi through herbs and foods. food, air, and herbs are critical for adjusting the Kan and Li. LIVING IN THE MOUNTAINS is better becuase of the quality of the air. 2. Regulating the mind and breathing are the basic elements to build the Fire Qi. In regulation of the mind, there is stability. emotive stability is critical with fire Qi. The body can go on fire if the emotional ststae is agitated. in order to keep the mind calm and steady, use the METAL LUNGS ... which colls down the FIRE HEART. Deep breathing and the use of the qi in midle Dantian to cool the fire by leading it to the lungs... which can dissipate the heat. THE MIND AND THE BREATHE CANNOT BE SEPARATED. Deeper calm can be found. 3. STEADYING THE SPIRIT. fire Qi agistates and excites the emotiobnal mind. Energizes the body. the emotional mind will be scattered. the WATERY WISDOM MIND can be used to CLEAR THE WIDOM MIND further. Higher levekls are in training of the spirit. YI SHOU YI TIAN JIN GANG QI ...is THE MIND STAYS CLEAR AT THE ONE METAL POINT OF THE THIRD EYE. as strong as steel... UPER DAN TIAN. We train to keep our mind in the UPPER DAN TIAN ...space...THE WILL IS FORM THE MIND IS CLEAR. SPIRIT IS FIRM AND STEADY AND CONTROLS THE QI IN THE BODY. EFFICIENT CONTROL OF THE FIRE QI IS AFFORDED. 4. CIRCULATING THE WIOND PATH: qi cdirculation... slowing and cololing of the FIRE QI. usually, this will be thru the CONCPETION VESSEL IN THE FRONT... water qi is brought from the lower dantian to cool the fire qi in the middle dantian. This effectively cools the fiore Qi even before it circulates. 5. LEADING THE QI... TO THE WATER PATH. tjhis is also found in the book MARROW / BRAIN WASHING QIGONG which is lleading the Qi is led to the WATER PATH to weaken the Fire Qi... and keep from bodily overheating... again...descrtibed more thoroughly in MUSCLE/TENDON CGHANGING AND MARROW.BRAIN WASHING QIGIONG by YMAA Dr Yming-Ming. HEART POSSES FIRE WHILE LUNGS PSSES METAL. These two are to be as One for Optimal Being.
REGULATING THE BODY. TIAO SHEN. The Trainee must REGULATE 5 things... BODY, BREATHE, XIN (EMOTIVE MIND), QI, AND SHEN (SPIRIT). For steady flow of Water Qi...regulation of THE ESSENCE from which the Water Qi is converted. Closely linked! THE REAL REGUALTION HAPPENS EVENTUALLY WITHOIUT THE MIND. Regulating without regulating. REGUALTING THE BODY IS CALLED 'TIAO SHEN" and means adjusting the body to relaxation. Centering and balancing. If not, tenseness and uneasiness preside. Without good form, the Qi cannot flow appropriaely. Cannot be "smooth"... then the Yi Mind cannot be at Peace. Yi unease generates disorder in the Qi,. REGULATION FO THE MIND MUST PROCEED REGUALTION OF THE BODY. Xin...emotional mind... when the Wisdom and the Emotional Minds are balanced and the BODY is too...this is called ..." SHEN XIN PING HENG " ... BODY AND HEART MIND BALANCED. The mutual relationship Honored, The Yi relxes and concentrates...and with peaceful YI... comes accuracy. The body then becomes centered...balanced, and relaxed.
